Response to poor instructions
I have not purchased this item yet, but it looks like quite a bargain at the price. So I looked at the reviews. It appears to me that the reviewer overlooked the information in the product data sheet showing that the control inputs are via floating opto-coupler inputs. Therefore each input is independent of the others and may use common ground or common positive supply or any combination. While I also like to have detailed instructions for each device I use, I believe the information in the data sheet is adequate and sufficient, albeit sparse. Regarding the lack of information on how the controller responds to control inputs, a few minutes experimenting at the workbench will reveal that.

poor instructions
instructions are very lacking ! If you already are familure with the device they are usefulI am sure. If you are not, and dont want to hook it up wrong an burn it up, then the instructions do not give enough details... A sample circuit of a typical hook up would be very useful in this situation. A full explanation for each input would be a BIG help. for example Dir+ = direction CW/CCW & Dir- = Direction return ?? Do you put a + voltage on dir+ with respect to dir- ? does this have to be an independent signal or can it be common to the GND ? or are we using negative logic and a + makes it go CCW.. All inputs lack a full description.. Even though it is an inexpensive unit, I dont want to hook it up wrong and burn it up on the first try at putting power to it. It is a good price, and looks like a quality product, Just not sure how to wire it.
 
Very happy
Super quiet. I used this as a replacement for my CNC router. It replaced TB6560 driver and made a huge difference. Very quiet. No resonance smooth stepping.
